So, I randomly had an idea one day to start sharing some of my favorite items I’m currently using. The more I thought about it, I decided I’m going to try and make it a monthly post. We shall see how I do 😆
For a while now, I’ve been switching over my products to cleaner, safer, more eco friendly things. One thing I’ve been using at least two times a day and tossing was cotton rounds. I knew there had to be better options out there now a days. So, I tried these little guys. They have held up great. I use each one only once, and mostly just for my toner. Then at the end of the week I wash what I’ve used and that is it. I usually throw them in a mesh laundry bag and into the washer, then lay them out to air dry.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people using this big round makeup brushes. As much as I wanted to try them, I am not all about dropping over a hundred dollars on a single brush. Especially for a momma who is barely doing her makeup these days. So, I found these ones. I’ve only used them about two times now, but so far I’m liking the foundation, concealer and powder brush. I didn’t love the eyeshadow brush. It just felt too weird when applying eyeshadow. I’ll be sticking with my traditional eyeshadow brushes.
I’m a Beautycounter consultant and I had a pop up party this week. During the party, I shared my own before and afters. It wasn’t until I actually saw my own photos side by side, that I realized what a difference these products were making. I mean I knew it was working, I could see the differences daily, but looking at my before and afters for the first time like that.. 🤯 Anyhow, I’m sharing my favorite vitamin c serum with you all today because it has done amazing things for my dark spots and acne scarring. If you’re interested in trying this one, reach out, I have some discount offers.

Another item I’ve been using that has been so great for my face is a rose quartz jade roller. I love how its been helping reduce the puffiness in my face and eye circles. It also is suppose to help with blood circulation, don’t know if it does or not but I’m going with it. I love the way it feels on my face and is a very nice little message, no matter what time of day I do it.
My last favorite item to share is a recently new purchase (and one I can’t link for you, sorry 😔 ). I bought one of those spa headbands at my local TJ Maxx , on clearance too! It’s been a big help when washing my face or doing my makeup. I have a lot of breakage around my face from my hair and always putting it up, and I dislike when it gets in the way, especially when doing my makeup. So I grabbed on these bad boys for $3. It does a good job of taming those little flyaways and keeping my hair out of my face. It’s a big score in my book.
Hope you guys enjoy seeing some of my favorite things. Share some of your favorites in the comments. Have you tried any of these ones I shared today? Let me know if you do try one.
Time to start seeing what I enjoy in April!
